Andre Smith began his entrepreneurial journey at a young age, turning his love for animals into a successful dog breeding business. His early achievements set the stage for a career filled with diverse ventures, including his role as a financier for blockbuster films. Throughout his journey, Andre remained committed to his values of hard work, integrity, and perseverance—qualities he passed on to his daughter.
Racquel Smith inherited her father’s entrepreneurial spirit and was inspired by his accomplishments. With his guidance, she built her own business from the ground up, starting as a book promoter dedicated to championing indie authors. Racquel’s platform quickly became a beacon for diversity in literature, providing opportunities for underrepresented voices and helping to shape a more inclusive literary landscape.
Together, Andre and Racquel are more than just business partners—they are a team united by a shared vision. They understand the power of mentorship and the importance of giving back. Our mission is to empower and uplift Black & Latino/a youth by providing transformative mentorship, educational resources, and community support, all aimed at nurturing future leaders who will drive positive change in their communities and beyond. Founded and led by two successful black entrepreneurs, our nonprofit is dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive space where young minority individuals can explore their full potential, develop critical life skills, and build a strong foundation for their future. By connecting these young minds with experienced mentors, we strive to inspire confidence, foster resilience, and promote a deep sense of cultural pride and identity.
